Since 1996, Wolf Blass has won more than 3,000 awards. For the Gold Label, the Shiraz was harvested from a number of Barossa Valley vineyards renowned for delivering outstanding fruit. Each parcel was separately fermented, transferred to French oak for 18 months and the final blend made up from selected barrels. It a medium bodied wine with aromas of cranberry, plum and smoky oak that tumble onto the richly flavoured, elegantly structured palate
Rich, generous, mouthfilling. Flavours of rhubarb and beetroot in tandem with the delightful fruits/adornments of a wild berry compote. Rounded, softened tannins align with stylish, integrated oak to extend what is already formidable palate length. Not for the fainthearted Pinot Noir drinker!
